While we sometimes glibly quote "Judge not…" out of context, there is a right kind of judging -- else there would be no need for court trials, for example, and one day Christians will even judge angels! (I Cor. 6:2-5) Yet our view can be distorted at times, and things are not always what they seem. When tempted to judge others, we need to be careful to get all the facts and see things through God´s eyes so we can judge a situation rightly.

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." John 7:24
