Be ready always to answer… How can we answer unless we first HAVE an answer, and how can we have a TRUE answer to life`s greatest questions unless we have been reading and studying God`s Word? What about other materials we feed our minds on? If we have filled up with only television, news media, popular magazines and worldly romance novels, that is all we will have stored up, and that is all we will be able to give others. We will not even be able to discern between an article that is merely philosophical and one that gives a true Christian perspective. Great philosophical and psychological words may be of some temporary comfort, but they won`t satisfy the deepest cries of the heart -- nor are they good enough to die by. Only the truth is good enough. So what is truth? Jesus said in prayer to the Heavenly Father, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." John 17:17 In the next chapter he told Pilate, "To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. John 18:37 It is actually easy and simple to know the truth from error. This week`s tip tells you how:
