Poem: "Revelation"
"REVELATION"
by Louise Norman
I complained of a crowded house;
He showed me slums.
I complained of mud-streaked carpet;
He showed me floors of dirt.
I complained of noisy neighbors;
He showed me prisoned silence.
I complained of bitter cold;
He showed me the faint.
I complained of aching joints;
He showed me the blind, the lame.
I complained of many things;
He showed me -- Himself.
