Once More, Please!

Sometimes anger can be humorous. When we were teens, my friend and I would double-date, then sleepover at one of our homes. One night she was still stewing over a spat she´d had with her boyfriend. "You know something," she snarled, "The madder I lay here the longer I get!" After I could quit laughing long enough to tell her what she´d said, we both cracked up. Later, I asked what it was she was so mad about. She couldn´t remember! Try to find humor in emotional situations. You´ll feel a whole lot better! --Louise
