Creative Witnessing

God has blessed more people than I can recount through my children who are hearing impaired. The impairment draws a lot of interest from others who want to ask questions. Many expect us to tell tales of sorrow and are touched by the stories my wife and I tell about their remarkable stories (a book in itself). Their bright blue and bright purple hearing aids initiate a lot of conversations - why not use that opportunity to talk about God`s blessing in their lives? -- submitted by Scott M. Is It Hard to be a Christian?

Hey, being a Christian isn`t that hard. Most people think that to be a Chrirstian and go to heaven, you must always be good and go to church. That is totally not true. All you have to do is take Jesus as your savior, and ask forgiveness for your sins. Being good is a totally different thing. Once you have accepted Jesus as your savior He takes and shapes you and makes you a good person. No matter how much a person tries, he cannot be good without the help of Jesus in his life. He might seem good in the outside but deep down he will be lost and hollow. So the first step towards Christianity is to accept Jesus as your savior and He will take care of everything else that follows. -- submitted by AHaley2

When Stressed

For certain you will have a nagging disquiet if you`re not in line with God. It happens to everybody so don`t worry if you`re having trouble with it. You don`t have to be perfect to be used by God. Just stay open. Another thing to remember is God says his yolk is light - in other words if you`re excessively stressed -you may be off course. Search your heart, check your motives and chose a path that suits your character and gifting for the right reasons. Whatever you do, do it the best you can.

Avoiding Temptation

When confronted with temptation, try to focus on the goodness of Jesus. This is much easier to do than to debate giving in to the temptation.
